The present confidentiality policy defines and informs Internet users of the way GALLIA HÔTEL uses and protects the information transmitted, if any, when they use the Internet site (hereafter the “Site”)

This confidentiality policy may be modified or completed at any time by GALLIA HÔTEL, notably in order to comply with any legislative, regulatory, jurisprudential or technological evolution. These modifications are binding on the Internet user as soon as they are put online. 

 

ARTICLE 1. DEFINITION AND NATURE OF PERSONAL DATA

When using the Site, GALLIA HÔTEL may ask the Internet user to communicate personal data concerning him/her, in order to use the services offered on the Site.
The personal data collected within the framework of the services offered by GALLIA HÔTEL correspond to the information required by the entities within the framework of the submission of an application for aid.

In the context of the present confidentiality policy, the term “personal data” refers to all the data that allow an individual to be identified, which corresponds in particular to the surname, first names, postal and e-mail addresses, telephone numbers, date of birth, data relating to transactions on the Site, as well as any other information that the Internet user chooses to communicate to GALLIA HOTEL

 

ARTICLE 2. PURPOSE OF THE PRESENT CONFIDENTIALITY POLICY

The purpose of the present confidentiality policy is to provide information on the means that GALLIA HÔTEL uses to collect personal data, with the strictest respect for the rights of the Internet user.

GALLIA HÔTEL states that it complies, in the collection and management of Personal Data, with law n°78-17 of 6 January 1978 relating to information technology, files and freedoms, in its current version (hereinafter the “Information Technology and Freedoms Law”), as well as Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (hereinafter the “RGPD”).

 

ARTICLE 3. COLLECTION OF PERSONAL DATA

The legal grounds for the collection of Personal Data are as follows:

  • Legitimate interest,
  • The consent of the Internet user when required as well as for any processing of Personal Data collected indirectly and for the use of cookies and other tracers,
  • The execution of the contract concluded between the Internet user and GALLIA HÔTEL when using the services offered on the Site,
  • Legal and regulatory obligations.

The Internet user’s personal data is collected to meet one or more of the following purposes:

  • To manage access to and use of the services available on the Site, 
  • To carry out operations relating to the management of customers and the follow-up of the relationship with customers,
  • To build up a file of registered members, Internet users, customers and prospects,
  • To draw up commercial statistics and statistics on the use of services accessible via the Site,,
  • Manage the management of people’s opinionson products, services or content,
  • To respect the legal and statutory obligations.

GALLIA HÔTEL informs the Internet user that, when collecting personal data, certain data must be filled in or are optional. Mandatory data are necessary for the functioning of the services. As regards optional data, the Internet user is entirely free to indicate them or not. 

 

Article 4. Transmission of data to third parties

The data collected may be transmitted to GALLIA HÔTEL’s staff or subcontractors (IT service providers, hosts, etc.), insofar as this is necessary for the purposes set out above, in order to respond favorably to the Internet user’s requests

Public bodies may also be recipients of personal data, exclusively in order to meet legal obligations, legal auxiliaries, ministerial officers and bodies responsible for debt collection.

 

Article 5. Transfer of Personal Data

Personal Data shall not be transferred, rented, or exchanged to third parties without the prior express consent of the Internet user.

 

Article 6. Duration of storage

The Personal Data of Internet users is kept by GALLIA HÔTEL for a period that does not exceed the period necessary for the purposes for which they are collected and processed and, in any event, for a maximum period of two (2) years after the last contact for information collected or a maximum period of three (3) years after their collection for prospects.

 

Article 7. Security

GALLIA HÔTEL takes all necessary precautions, organizational and technical measures to preserve the security, integrity and confidentiality of personal data and, in particular, to prevent them from being distorted, damaged or accessed by unauthorized third parties.

This vigilance is carried out :

  • by the use of cryptographic means in the transmission of data (SSL);
  • by a commitment to strict confidentiality on the part of GALLIA HÔTEL staff who have access to the user’s personal data;
  • by data backups within secure servers.

 

Article 8. Rights of Internet users 

Internet users are informed that, in accordance with the French and European regulations in force, they have the following rights, subject to proving their identity: 

  • The right to object, for legitimate reasons, to their Personal Data being processed in ways other than those set out in this document to which they have consented; 
  • The right to object, free of charge, to the current or future commercial processing of the Data collected by the data controller;
  • The right to be informed about the processing of their Personal Data;
  • The right to obtain information on the processing of personal Data managed by GALLIA HÔTEL and all information allowing to know and, if necessary, to contest the logic which presides over the processing of the said data;  
  • The right to obtain a copy of the Personal Data concerning them;
  • The right to request the rectification, updating, blocking or deletion of data concerning them which may be inaccurate, erroneous, incomplete or obsolete;
  • The right to portability of their data.

GALLIA HÔTEL will endeavour to respond to any request for access, rectification or opposition or any other additional request for information made by an Internet user within a reasonable period of time, which may not exceed one (1) month from receipt of the request

The Internet user is informed that if he does not wish to be the subject of commercial prospecting by telephone, he can register free of charge on a list of opposition to canvassing, for example: www.bloctel.gouv.fr.

 

Article 9. Complaint to the competent authority

If the Internet user considers that GALLIA HÔTEL is not respecting its obligations regarding his/her Personal Data, he/she is reminded that he/she may submit a complaint or a request to the competent authority.

It is reminded that in France the competent authority is the Commission Nationale de l’Informatique et des Libertés (CNIL) to which the internet user can send a request electronically by clicking on the following link: https://www.cnil.fr/en/home.

 

Article 10. Cookies

A cookie is a text file installed on the hard disk of the connection terminal, at the request of the site consulted by a browser. It records information relating to Internet browsing and enables the site to determine whether the browser has already been connected before. Its retention period is defined by the site operator and may be limited to the browsing session on the site in question or longer.

In accordance with the Ordinance of 24 August 2011 on the application of European directives on the protection of privacy on the Internet, a cookie cannot be placed on the Internet user’s computer without his/her prior consent.

Furthermore, Internet users have the option of refusing the installation of “cookies” by configuring their browser as follows:

  • If the Internet user is using Microsoft Edge: click on “…” in the toolbar, then on “Settings”. Then click on “Cookies and Site Permissions” in the drop-down menu on the left of the screen. Click on the “Manage and delete cookies and site data” button, check the “Block third-party cookies” box;
  • If browsing on Firefox (Mozilla): Click on the drop-down menu button and select “Settings”. Select the “Privacy and Security” panel. In the “Enhanced Tracking Protection” section, select “Custom” and check the “Cookies” box. Click on the “All cookies (prevents certain sites from working)” drop-down menu.
  • If using Google Chrome: Click on ‘Settings’ in the browser toolbar, then click on ‘Privacy and Security’ in the drop-down menu on the left of the screen. In the “Privacy and Security” section, click on “Cookies and other site data”. In the ‘Cookies and other site data’ section, select ‘Block all cookies (not recommended)’.

Internet users can thus oppose the recording of cookies by following the procedure described above, depending on their browser.

However, it is specified that Internet users will not be able to benefit from certain features of the Site if they do not accept the installation of cookies, in particular: browsing preferences, access to personalized services, automatic identification to your personal space, etc.

The Site may refer to “social plugins” (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and LinkedIn in particular) which allow the recommendation of content, the use of profile data for comments, the registration or completion of forms or the display of content from social sites.

GALLIA HOTEL is not responsible for the implementation by the social network(s) of third-party cookies on the computer of the Internet users.

The cookies used on the Site by GALLIA HOTEL are in particular the following:

  • Audience measurement: GALLIA HOTEL uses Google Analytics to measure the audience of the SITE.
  • Google map for the location of the internet user.

 

Article 11. Modifications

GALLIA HOTEL reserves the right to modify at any time the present terms and conditions in whole or in part.

These modifications will come into effect as of the publication of the new confidentiality policy.

Unless substantial modification(s) requiring the express consent of the Internet user, the use of the Site, following the entry into force of these modifications, will be deemed to be recognition and acceptance of the new confidentiality policy.
